Charles D’Arcy attended Pro-Cathedral Schools since their opening in 1912. In this reference from 1914, the Head-Master of the School, Mr. A. Scully, described Charles as “obedient and respectful to his teachers, regular and punctual in attendance, attentive to his lessons and well conducted in every respect.” He concluded the reference by stating “I have much pleasure in bearing testimony to his good character and shall be always pleased to hear of his success in life".
